Osteopath
Sarah is an independent osteopath working at Blackburn Osteopathy Monday to Friday.
Sarah is a Victoria University graduate with a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Osteopathy. Sarah is passionate about helping people reach their goals whether that be to maintain pain free movement in daily life or enhance physical performance.
Sarah’s management approach aims to assist each individual to achieve their optimal physical health through education, exercise rehabilitation and an osteopathic holistic approach. Sarah can assist with ergonomic workplace assessments to help prevent chronic postural conditions and manage workplace injuries.
Sarah utilises her experience working with athletes across many sports to assess for the underlying cause of sporting injuries and help prevent injuries. Sarah has worked with high performing athletes at Caulfield Old Grammarians Football Club, Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak and Banks Rowing Club.
Additionally Sarah is qualified in strength and conditioning coaching which she uses alongside hands on treatment approaches. Sarah is excited to be completing her matwork and reformer pilates instructor course during 2021 to utilise as another injury management option for her patients.
When not treating her patients at Blackburn Osteopathy, Sarah enjoys rowing on the yarra with Banks Rowing Club and discovering new places to hike and mountain bike ride across Victoria.
