OSTEOPATHY FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH

Osteopathy has a focus on whole person considerations and can be useful in the treatment of Women’s Health conditions, which are often complex and involve multiple body systems.

Approximately 45% of all pregnant people will experience back pain at some point during their pregnancy! Osteopathy can help with this.

Osteopathy has been shown to help reduce pain and increase function in those who are pregnant, including those experiencing pelvic girdle pain, neck pain and low back pain.

It may also help with those suffering from endometriosis, adenomyosis and other menstrual-related conditions, including menopausal symptoms, where 50% of menopausal women will experience a musculoskeletal symptom.

Treatment might include soft tissue work, articulation, Muscle Energy Techniques, counterstrain and more! Treatment is tailored to each individual’s specific needs.

Osteopath Tessa has a particular interest and passion in women’s health and continues to expand her expertise in this area. If you would like to book in with Tessa click the button below.
